The piece combines synthetic textures with organic tones to mirror the filmβs visual contrast between plastic and cotton. Using rhythmic, insect-like movements and subtle textural shifts, the sound builds in tempo and intensity as the microplastics accumulate, evoking both fascination and unease. Version displayed is without the voice over to fully express the sound design and music.

π ARK/8: Evangellion Jacket + Pendant Launch

A launch of a special limited edition bomber jacket Inspired and tributed to Evangelion, the Japanese mecha anime television series directed by Hideaki Anno. The sound design took reference to the ambient and mechanical noises evident throughout the tv shows and films, with the goal of creating something that felt haunting, unsettling and distorted but ultimately exciting.

For this campaign, we wanted to creat music and sound design that would capture the tension and emotional unraveling of a digital scam in real time. The sound builds from quiet unease to a dense, distorted climax as trust breaks and reality blurs. Using a blend of organic textures and synthetic glitches, the piece blurs the line between human and machine, echoing how AI-driven scams mimic real emotion. The result is a visceral, unsettling soundscape that grounds the storyβs psychological impact.

π IAF Dublin: Dawna - Mise Le Meas Exhibition

This soundscape explores the layers of emotion experienced through inhabiting Dublin solely through memory while simultaneously navigating a new and unfamiliar physical environment, in this case - Barcelona, where I currently live.I wanted the duality of my relationship to the two cities to unfold during the piece through varying gradients of clarity. The foundational layer situates the present environment: the hum of Barcelona captured in field recordings during walks through the neighbourhood I live in, with passing voices in Catalan and Spanish, children playing, and elderly neighbours in animated conversation. This immersive layer is occasionally disrupted, dipping beneath the music as attention drifts inward. Fragmented memories of home surface, momentarily pulling the experience out of the physical environment and into a reconstructed space shaped by hazy recollections of conversations, rooms, and moments from home. Distorted yet familiar voices emerge, accents of family and friends recognisable in tone, but the words dissolve into abstraction amongst the shifting soundscape.Beneath these shifting layers there is a musical backdrop of intimate piano progressions which soundtrack the emotional resonance of the experience. A meandering vocal sample sits alongside the piano, synthesised and manipulated to sound and feel just out of reach of recognition. Both elements are submerged in deep spatial reverb, framing the sense of distance and longing. The title of the piece βEnyorβ comes from Catalan and doesnβt have an exact translation to English but Iβm told describes a feeling somewhere between nostalgia and yearning, defined as - βA feeling produced by the absence or loss of a person or thing one loves, together with the desire to see or have it again.β

Commissioned piece for the Mise Le Meas exhibition in Dublin, October 2025 - a new diasporic exhibition opening in IAF House on Charlemont Square by Dawna Collective. The piece is titled 'Enyor' and explores the experience of inhabiting Dublin through memory while living in Barcelona. It layers field recordings, voices, and music to convey the shifting relationship between past and present environments.

To complement the refined visual identity, bloblab created a bespoke introduction sound pieceβbalancing sophistication, innovation, and a touch of playfulness. The result is a sonic experience that enhances the brandβs personality, making a lasting first impression on visitors
